1. Turmeric ( Haldi Powder) (if at temple, not necessary) 2 – 3 tsp
2. KumKum (if at temple, not necessary) 1 – 2 tsp
3. Sandal powder or tablets 1 tsp
4. Fresh Flowers 1 bouquet
5. Incense sticks (Agarbathi) 5
6. Betel leaves and nuts (Pan, Supari) Minimum 5
7. Mango leaves 1 bunch
8. Vastram (Clothes for God) (NO BLACK color) 1 piece
9. Prepare for Mother’s milk for baby in the middle of ceremony
10. New dress for baby
11. Some fruits - 1 plate full of fruits
12. Honey - 1 tsp
13. Dry coconut - ½ piece
14. Sugar cubes 1 cup
15. Coconut - Minimum 2 coconuts
16. Uncooked rice 2 pounds
17. Home cooked Prasadam
18. Five One dollar bills and 5 quarters (Total $6.25)
